For over 25 years, computers and information technology has been a part of my life (thanks Dad), and there are countless success stories and many happy people because of my opportunity to help them. This site is dedicated to helping in any way possible as it pertains to programming, databases, blogging, virus protection, web design, graphics tips, and to even some personal encounters and information with sports, scouts, music, and anything else I feel like blogging about. I encourage you to join in with me and make the freedom of community information, gift of the internet, a reality.
I speak C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle and a few other foreign languages. I started SnapJag Creative Designs in 2008! I like to take build application solutions, take photographs, and creatively think of solutions and fix information technology problems.
You could say that this is a site to bring together lots of knowledge, tons of rolled up solutions, and I hope you've come with both your learning cap and the mentor cap. Because here, we believe highly in mentoring.
A perfect quote reference from the site How-To-Books for Business is
Mentoring is about one person helping another to achieve something. More specifically, something that is important to them. It is about giving help and support in a non-threatening way, in a manner that the recipient will appreciate and value and that will empower them to move forward with confidence towards what they want to achieve. Mentoring is also concerned with creating an informal environment in which one person can feel encouraged to discuss their needs and circumstances openly and in confidence with another person who is in a position to be of positive help to them.
It all started because I have been given a gift that only comes from divine intervention. I must recognize from which I have been granted this information. Moreover, it's necessary to share it with everyone (I love the internet because of that).
Some of the information we gain is specialized, and demands being paid for it ('cause we have to eat); the rest is given as community knowledge that could increase the betterment of humanity.
